Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

TubeTopic (tubetopic.com) is a YouTube analytics service: a table of popular videos, trends and video ideas for your channel. The service is owned and operated by Oleksandr Lakhno. Contact: lakhno.mail@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account. Your email address, your name (if you provide it) and your password, stored only as an irreversible hash.
  • Sign in with Google. If you sign in with Google, we receive only basic profile information from Google: your Google account ID, email address and whether it is verified, your name and profile picture URL (scopes openid, email and profile). We have no access to your email, files, contacts, YouTube account or any other Google data.
  • Channels you add. A YouTube channel link or ID. We receive only publicly available information about channels and videos through the YouTube API: titles, descriptions, thumbnails, view and like counts. We do not request access to your YouTube account.
  • Technical data. IP address and browser information when you sign in, to protect your account; the days you visit the service; reports of technical errors on pages (page address and error text), to fix them.
  • Payments. If you subscribe, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details; we only keep your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

3. How we use data

  • to create your account and sign you in;
  • to generate video ideas for your channels and apply plan limits;
  • to send service emails: email confirmation, password reset, subscription notices;
  • to protect the service from abuse and fix errors.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or share it with other companies for their own purposes.

4. Data received from Google

We use your Google profile data only to sign you in to TubeTopic and to contact you about your account. TubeTopic's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke TubeTopic's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

5. YouTube

TubeTopic uses YouTube API Services. By using the service, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. See the Google Privacy Policy for how Google handles data.

6. Who we share data with

Only with providers that help run the service, and only as much as their task requires:

  • Render — servers and the service database;
  • Resend — sending emails;
  • Sentry — technical error reports;
  • Stripe — subscription payments, if you subscribe;
  • OpenAI, Anthropic and Google (Gemini) — processing publicly available video information to generate ideas. Your email, name and other account data are not sent to these services.

We may disclose data if required by law.

7. Cookies

We use only necessary cookies: to keep you signed in, to remember the interface language, and short-lived service cookies (on-page messages, protection of Google sign-in). There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can remove a channel at any time on the “Ideas for my channel” page. To delete your account and all related data, email lakhno.mail@gmail.com from your account address; we will delete it within 30 days. Data disappears from database backups as those backups are replaced.

9. Security

The connection to the site is encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored only as hashes, and only the service owner has access to the data.

10. Children

The service is not intended for people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent by emailing lakhno.mail@gmail.com.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page and announce significant changes on the site or by email.
